Souvenir bell from the Britannic of 1930. Of all the souvenirs Cunard White Star produced, I like the fouled anchor bells the most. Hard to get much more nautical in feel. From the collection of Ron Johnson, Cunard’s New York manager. I can deduce from Mr. Johnsons’s collection that Britannic was his favorite ship. He saved a lot of items from her. This isn’t surprising as his original job before becoming full manager was head of the cruise department, a section of Cunard where Britannic played an extensive role. In excellent condition and measures about 6″ tall.
